Engineering, Robotics and AI

The scientist discovers a new type of material or energy and the engineer discovers a new use for it.

Summer School provides students with a comprehensive introduction to the exciting career opportunities in engineering and technology. Students explore the fields of Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical engineering as they survey emerging technical applications, from self-driving vehicles to space travel.

Courses introduce students to the rapidly evolving fields of software development, robotics and AI. Combining theoretical concepts with real-world applications, students will delve into core computer science principles, explore programming languages, and master the software development process. Aspiring engineers will also examine how these skills and knowledge are applied to programming robots and how AI integrates with this technology. Alongside practical experience, the programme includes critical discussions on the ethics and security of emerging technologies. With guidance from expert instructors, students will complete a individual project, deepening their skills and exploring their interests in this dynamic field. Students gain a practical foundation in the science of engineering through fun design simulations that provide a grounding in mathematics and physics. Learn to think like an engineer and strengthen your critical thinking, collaboration, problem-solving, and creativity skills.

  • Summer Schools in the UK take advantage of the unparalleled facilities offered by boarding schools, there are no crowded huts and basic provisions here; boarding accommodation is by gender and age group with a mix of nationalities in each room and will often be in a breathtaking historic building.
