Hampshire Collegiate School

Hampshire Collegiate School offers all families a school that will not only be academically ambitious for their children but will also prepare them for life beyond school in a supportive, dynamic and extraordinary way; an education beyond expectations.

Students relaxing on the lawn at Hampshire Collegiate SchoolSet in a stunning 130-acre private park, formerly the home of Florence Nightingale, we provide an educational setting where children can learn and prepare themselves for the greatest adventure of all – life.

We offer a rich co-curricular programme where pupils can choose from over seventy activities – for example falconry, chess, Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, sailing, orchestra, dance, fishing, music technology, fencing, choir and cookery to name but a few. Opportunities to undertake visits and residential trips to enhance the curriculum are plentiful.

HCS is academically ambitious for all its pupils. Our most recent ISI inspection praised ‘enthusiastic and passionate teaching’. Leavers’ destinations are as diverse as our pupils and we are proud of our success in gaining entry to top drama or art institutions as well as top Universities.

HCS is renowned for its strong nurture for pupil progress and we provide excellent pastoral care. Relationships are built on mutual trust and respect between staff and pupils; we are proud of the warmth and energy that exists in our community whether boarding or day.
