Wymondham College

State Co-educational boarding and day, Norfolk

Wymondham College is a thriving and diverse place to live and learn. Graded ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted, we are the largest state boarding and day school in the UK with our academic achievements amongst the highest in the country. Our beautiful 83-acre campus in rural Norfolk is home to pupils from ages 4-18 from over 40 different countries, with over 550 boarders from ages 9-18.

We have over 70 weekly extra-curricular activities giving students the opportunity to explore new passions and develop new skills. Our boarding element adds a richness to our school culture and the boarding house structure means students belong to a smaller community, where pastoral and wellbeing support ensures every child is known and cared for. Our world class status reflects the high-quality, all-round education our students receive, with many going onto Oxbridge and Russell Group universities. Considering these aspects of our unique school, we are fantastic value for money with a modest boarding fee.

The College is steeped in a rich heritage, which is celebrated through traditions, many of which are hosted in our 2nd World War Nissen Hut. Positioned in the East of England, we are well connected by air, rail and road. Our students are the life and soul of our community. Inspired by passionate staff and excellent facilities, together we strive for the very best.
