New Hall School

Combined Co-education School, Essex

New Hall is a Catholic boarding and day school, committed to providing ‘The Best Start in Life’ for every student. Located on a stunning historical campus, just 30 minutes from the centre of London by train, the School offers a balanced educational experience that combines rigorous academics with a diverse range of rich co-curricular programmes. Following the highly successful ‘Diamond Model’, students are taught their academic lessons by gender from the ages of 11 to 16, and co-educationally from 1 to 11 and in the Sixth Form. New Hall’s ethos is built on care, trust, and respect, with an emphasis on service to others, creating a supportive community where every student is valued and encouraged to excel.

Boarders thrive in a welcoming, family-like atmosphere, living in well-appointed boarding houses within New Hall's beautiful grounds. During evenings and weekends, boarders participate in a diverse range of activities designed to foster personal growth, academic achievement and cultural enrichment. Students excel in a wide range of sports, including athletics, basketball, cricket, cross country, football, golf, hockey, horse riding, netball, rugby, skiing and tennis. Musicians have numerous performance opportunities across many genres, while dancers are part of one of the UK's most successful dance schools. The recently reopened Equestrian Centre, featuring advanced simulators and an outdoor learning area, reflects New Hall’s commitment to offering diverse co-curricular activities that inspire leadership, personal growth, and a lifelong love of learning.
