New Hall School

Co-educational boarding and day, Essex

New Hall School is a Catholic boarding and day school, committed to providing ‘The Best Start in Life’ for every student. Located on a stunning historical campus, just 30 minutes from the centre of London by train, the School offers a balanced educational experience that blends academic excellence with a varied co-curricular programme. Following the highly successful ‘Diamond Model’, students are educated in co educational classes up to age 11 and again at Sixth Form; however, from age 11 to 16 they are taught in single-sex lessons. New Hall’s ethos is built on care, trust, and respect, with an emphasis on service to others, creating a nurturing environment in
which every student feels known, supported, and affirmed. Boarders thrive at New Hall in a warm, welcoming, and community-focused environment. Students live in well-appointed houses set within the School’s heritage grounds and enjoy a wide range of evening and weekend activities that support personal development, academic success, and cultural enrichment.

Students excel in a range of sports, including athletics, basketball, cricket, cross country, equestrian, football, golf, hockey, netball, rugby, skiing, swimming and tennis. Musicians have numerous performance opportunities, while dancers are part of one of the UK's most successful dance schools. New Hall’s Learn-to-Ride Centre reflects the school’s commitment to offering co-curricular experiences that foster personal growth and a lifelong love of learning
