Tettenhall College

Combined co-education school, Staffordshire

A quintessentially British boarding school, nestled in the leafy English village of Tettenhall, yet within proximity of Wolverhampton and the UK’s second city, Birmingham.  Tettenhall College provides a safe, and inspiring learning environment which nurtures each child’s natural gifts and guides them to reach their true potential.

"A unique atmosphere with remarkable opportunities where every pupil achieves their personal best."

Boarders are welcomed into modern, newly renovated, well equipped single-sex boarding houses, each with its own dedicated House Parent. Round the clock medical and pastoral care ensures that each child feels happy and secure, and our in-house catering team serves a wide variety of tasty and healthy cuisine.

The seven-day boarding activity programme encourages each child’s immersion into school life, including: trips to historic towns and locations, visits to museums and theme parks and activities such as mountain biking and indoor climbing. Tettenhall College believes that extracurricular activities are the cornerstone of a well-rounded education.

Every child is certain to find activities which will suit them; from our own heated, indoor swimming pool, to squash courts, rugby, cricket and football pitches, extensive music department, art studio and our Victorian-era performance theatre at the heart of the school site.

Attainment is consistently high, with 58% of A Level students earning grades A* to A and a high proportion attending the country’s most sought after British Russell Group universities, as well as those abroad.
