Milton Abbey School

Co-educational boarding and day, Dorset

Milton Abbey offers an outstanding range of traditional and vocational subjects, chosen to inspire students and prepare them for adult life. From Music Technology to Mathematics, History to Hospitality, Fashion Design to French, or Photography to Psychology. Milton Abbey builds the perfect study programme for every child. The focus is not only on what a student needs to learn, but on developing attitudes and habits for lifelong success. The school has a track record of building confidence in young people and enabling them to succeed.

Its deliberately small size, combined with exceptional pastoral care and strong partnerships with parents, means that every child is known and appreciated as an individual. Based on this, the school sets ambitious, personalised targets that are met through a careful balance of support and challenge. Pupils make the most of a glorious countryside setting, build lasting friendships and enjoy a full programme of sports and co-curricular activities. With a full boarding approach, Milton Abbey is as busy in the evenings and weekends as it is during the school day. The school offers an exciting mix of team sports such as football, rugby and hockey, alongside individual pursuits such as running, tennis, swimming and cycling.
