Stonyhurst welcomes children of all faiths, and none and has been supporting Forces Families for over 100 years. The College recently signed the Armed Forces Covenant to emphasise this support. Stonyhurst has one of the most generous Armed Forces schemes of any boarding school with a bursary allowance enabling the 10% minimum CEA charge. Alongside our core of British full boarders, the school are proud to have an international community of 26 different nationalities. The boarding community offers a lively weekend program of academics, sports, and activities. There are no compulsory exeat weekends but leave for a special occasion is by arrangement. Visiting families can stay at the onsite accommodation at Theodore House and accompanied travel is provided for pupils at term’s start and end.
Stonyhurst has a fantastic choice of sporting, creative and academically focussed co-curricular activities. Facilities are exceptional enabling something for all interest, giving children the opportunity aspire to be the best versions of themselves. The school was rated Ex ellent in all areas in the most recent ISI report, stating that ‘pupils have a highly developed sense of social awareness; they are passionate about making a difference.’Stonyhurst aim to form ‘men and women for others’: people who value community, who
know what they stand for, and who will speak up for what they believe in.
Stonyhurst offers a generous Armed Forces scheme and bursary allowance.
