About Us

 

We have been working with local and expat families worldwide for the past 25 years; to find the best school for their child to ensure that they develop and grow and achieve their potential academically in a safe secure environment. We have visited over 350 UK boarding schools and are able to recommend schools for you to consider and help you through the process.

 

Anderson Education is the trading name of Anderson Education Consultants Limited.

Sara Sparling

Sara Sparling, Director and Education Consultant, travels frequently to the Gulf countries and Africa to meet local and expat families considering a UK boarding school, summer or language programme. Her experience as a teacher, ex-pat wife, mother of three children and as a boarder herself, enables her to understand the needs and concerns of parents. Whilst in the UK Sara makes regular school visits to identify what is unique and special about each boarding school and ensure that Anderson Education has up to date knowledge and information.

Nikki Harlow

Nikki Harlow is an Education Consultant, who joined the Anderson Education team in 2015, she has a wide range of experience in education with extensive knowledge of working with children with Special Educational Needs. Nikki’s career has included working in schools and also as an events and exhibition manager. She has lived in the USA and the Middle East and her son attended a UK boarding school.

Jackie Hardinges

Jackie Hardinges has been part of the Anderson Education team for 23 years and has formed invaluable relationships with UK Boarding Schools. She advises Schools on promotional opportunities; coordinates our Events and Publications and works with Schools to organise their attendance at our UK Boarding School Exhibitions.

Jen Reehal

Jen Reehal is our Marketing & Education Consultant – British Forces and has been part of a British Forces family for 23 years. Jen’s first-hand experience in finding the right boarding school for her sons from the age of 8 is invaluable experience when it comes to helping other Forces families make this difficult decision. Both of Jen’s sons have been through a boarding school education and are now serving in the Royal Marines. Jen will be working with UK boarding schools to develop their marketing and recruitment strategy and with Forces families to secure a boarding school place.

We are an independent education provider offering families FREE, impartial, help and guidance on UK Boarding Schools, Summer and Language programmes.

  • An expert team of knowledgeable Education Consultants with specialist skills in providing individual help and advice in selecting a UK boarding school as well as many other aspect of UK education.
  • We are an important student provider to UK schools, we have visited and work closely with over 350 boarding schools.
  • From our UK office we manage many enquiries each day from families worldwide.
  • Anderson Education has a team of dedicated people; experts in school application, entrance tests and interviews, curriculums, English language provision, Special Needs, visa application, Guardianship, boarding accommodation, airport transfer, Exeat & Half Term holidays and all school related concerns.
  • The UK office has 6 staff, working closely with our team of in-country representatives in UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
  • Sue Anderson the Founder of Anderson Education was awarded an MBE (Member of the Order the British Empire) in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List for services to education. She was presented with the award by the Prince of Wales during the investiture ceremony at Buckingham Palace in 2013.
  • Anderson Education was established in 1999 and since that time we have placed over 2,000 students from 52 different countries worldwide.

 

What We Do

We provide families with FREE, impartial, help and guidance on UK Boarding Schools, Summer and Language programmes.

  • We support the families every step of the way through the process of selecting the best school for each child, arranging school visits, the application, entrance test and interview process, we are available at any time to answer your questions and concerns. This is a FREE service to families!
  • Having visited over 350 schools across the UK, identifying what is special and unique about each school and then matching that with the child and family’s needs is key to our success.
  • Through our close collaboration with the schools and organisations such as BBSW, COBIS, BSME, MEA, BBG we are able to keep up to date with the latest education developments.
  • Our aim is to help cut the amount of time the school search can take when looking for the right school for your child, our input of accurate up to date expertise is exceptional and efficient.
  • We draw on our extensive knowledge to provide the know-how and support to solve family concerns and in some cases most challenging problems.
  • We organize UK Boarding School Exhibitions in Dubai and Saudi Arabia bi-annually each year, a Middle East Tour and print and distribute UK Boarding School Directories throughout the Middle East, Nigeria, Ghana and British Forces worldwide.
